Breakout EDU!

Today we ended our day with a fabulous game.
It was called BreakOut EDU

TEAMWORK was important!
In fact it was the whole challenge!

Students received top secret envelopes with a letter and clues inside
The letters spelled out TEAMWORK

It you finished your task and unlocked one lock, you were free to go
 and help other teams.
Everyone was intrigued with the locks.
How do we get them open?
Students were given 45 minutes to solve the puzzle and unlock the box.

Take a look at our teamwork and problem solving below.

With 46 seconds to spare.....

We rescued Mr. Unicorn!

It took working together and listening to each other in order to be successful.

How was the Breakout EDU experience for you?

Share a time you had to work with a team to in order to achieve a goal.

  1. Once I needed to do teamwork fixing the sprinklers with my dad. Also I needed to do teamwork at the beach with my friend Zane building a sand castle. I love teamwork!

    1. I also love teamwork. One time I helped my dad to built a garden box. First,I got long pieces of wood and then I helped him put it together by handing him screws to drill them in. Then, I brought some rocks and put them on the bottom. Last, I put in the soil and it turned out great. A few weeks later we decided to put compost on top to keep the plants from drying up when we water it. How did you teamwork on building the sand castle?

      Kindly,
      Skyler

    1. Dear Grant,
I have to go up in the attic to get the filters that we need. First,we have to unscrew the vent. Second,we have to remove the old and dirty filter. Then,we have to put in a new one in. My dad and I always do it once in awhile. Not every month. once in a while. You remember the brush fire that we had in July. My dad and I had to change the filter after it because there was so much smoke. It was dirty and bad. It was covered in smoke. Worst than I excepted to be. How did you do on doing teamwork to build other house work.

      Kindly,
      Skyler

    1. Hi Mikayla,
It boy was a lot of work to do because the locks had some sort of impossible secret code to break. Evan though my group didn't do any locks it was still fun and great. We had some help from Grant because he knows a lot about the Dodgers and we had one where it was about an guy in the Dodgers. I hate the fact that we couldn't
evan open one lock. Was it hard for you to open the locks?

      Kindly,
      Skyler

    1. Dear Elior and Ashlynne,
It was so intense that I kept shouting out the time. I was scared that w didn't have enough time to finish the save the unicorn. We all know it was a lamp. I thought it was gonna be a stuffed animal unicorn, but it wasn't at all. Who had a really hard time with the competition?

      Kindly,
      Skyler

    2. Hi Skyler,
It was intense but I knew we can do it. I thought it was a stuffed unicorn too. I think it is a speaker. I was partnered up with Grant. I think ours was the easiest to crack the code. Who was your partner and was it easy to crack the code?

      Hi Elior,
We are the best partners and with 48 seconds we cracked the code. It was so cool but the bell rang right before the picture. But we still liked it Grant tolled me all about it.

  7. Dear class,
I thought that we did a great job figuring out all of the number codes. I had so much fun! I wish we could do it again. It was amazing how we worked together and rescued Mr. Unicorn. If we did not work together then we would of not figured out the code and we would not be able to rescue Mr. Unicorn. But the best part of the challenge was that we worked together with teamwork!

    Sincerely,
    Lenore
