Teambuilding!

Today was our second day of school!

We continued our adventure!

In the morning we played more 'getting to know you games'. We searched for new friends and talked about their interests.

Later, students had fun "building" using the Kleenex boxes and the paper towels. They used teamwork and perseverance to build a pyramid.

What does perseverance mean?

The tissue boxes are rectangular prisms, while the paper towels are cylinders.

Magnificent balancing work!

What was your favorite activity from today?
What do you do to make sure a tower stands tall and stable?

  1. Ms. Tulbure,

First you need a base that is strong so it can hold all of the weight up. Then you need to stack the tower and make sure it has enough stability to make sure it does not fall under it's own weight. Then you need to make it tall.

My favorite activity from today was the tower stacking project.

  2. I liked building the tower with my friends. I think you can just glue the things together to make the tower tall and stable. ^_^

The most fun thing we did today was building with the paper towels it was cool to see how tall we could make the tower without it falling.
