Happy Halloween! :: Green Screen Fun!
Today was Halloween and our school held "Dress Like Your Favorite Book Character" Day! It was a fun way to meet some new characters!
In the morning, students took turns taking a photo of their book and then posing like the character. Using our iPads and the Do Ink app we were able to quickly make some outstanding images!

In the afternoon, the room moms and volunteers put on a spook-tacular party!
We had six stations: a Ghoulish Pumpkin Carving (Tangerine decorating) a Ghostly Maze, a
Gargantuan Pumpkin Measurement Station, a Frightful Spider Creation
Station, a Mysterious 3D building Creation, and a Sweet Donut Bobbing Treat .
What fun the third graders had!
We ended our fun with a Halloween story

ReplyDeleteHi Class. This is Meredith Dylan's mom. I'm sorry I didn't get to attend your class Halloween party. The pictures are great. I love the game in the laundry basket. If I understand it correctly, it looks like the game operation where you have to get an item out of the basket without touching the strings. I also love the orange jack- o- lanterns.

ReplyDeleteI liked operation to, one of the volunteers for that station was my grandam . I was excited to see her there it was fun. For my pumpkin I did a four sided pumpkin I did 2 flowers 1 happy face and on my last side I wrote cool on it what did you do your pumpkin?

Hey,this is Dolly can I barge in on your guy's conversation,thanks uh on my pumpkin I only made two sides with faces. One was a smiley face but the mouth was kinda off of point you know right under the eyes? but anyway the party was super fun and I hope we can do another one like it and I was so sad I had to leave early but I still had to make my Halloween because I was a jellyfish. Anyway how was your Halloween was it fun or not and what were you for Halloween
DeleteHi Brooke , I also enjoyed operation. I liked the pumpkin decorating too. I thought the party was whimsical and a special Halloween celebration with all treats and no tricks! I personally liked the donut hanging my face was covered in powdered sugar! Did you like the party ? did you have a favorite station ? why do you like it ?

I was Harley quin and I got a lot of good candys and I trick or treated with Alexa It was so cool.Then we went home.We got my sister's friend and trick or treated. We were the only trick or treaters so we got a lot of candy then we saw a haunted house and went in it that was my whole Halloween what was your favorite part of Halloween?
ReplyDeleteHey Carly! My favorite part of halloween was when I got to scare my cousin! For halloween I was supposed to be a banana but the costume didn't come in time. So instead I was a guy in a black cloak I covered my face in a black hood. I didn't only scare my cousin I also scared random people! some people just jumped,some screamed! I trick or treated in my neighboorhood. I went with my cousins Max and Rafiella,and my friend Karl.anyways this was a great halloween was great! I hope I get even more candy next year then I did this year!

Hey, Carly thanks for replying. I felt lonely for a second there but then you replied so I'm okay.Oh and [typing mistake] I wrote just Halloween instead of Halloween costume which I was jellyfish with my cousins and we made our costumes and we weren't done. It was hard getting through the crowds cause we were with other people and the other people wanted to go to a crowded town.Ugh its a long story.Anyway my favorite part was spending time with my friends and celebrating with them.BBBBBYYYYYYYEEEEE!!!!

Hi everyone I have a very quick question, who were you dressed up as for the Green Screen project?
ReplyDeleteI was a witch. At first I didn't know what book to bring but when i looked on my table ( at school ) I noticed a book just lying there. I picked it up and looked inside, it said it belonged to Ms. Tulbure. ( that meant it was the class library's ) I looked at the back cover and it said this story is about a witch. I was so lucky to find the book lying there. when did you get lucky? BYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
