Today, we read The True Story of the 3 Little Pigs! It was a very funny book told for the point-of-view, or perspective, of the wolf. The wolf used key words like I, my, and me to show first person.
For math, we built our own structures using ones, tens, and hundreds. It was a fun way to practice place value!

On the left side of the index card is each part of the house and the number of units used. (Example: 20 units were used on the roof, one hundred on the front.) On the right side of the card are three sentences. The first sentence describes the house. The second sentence tells how many hundreds, tens, and ones were used. The third sentence tells whether the total number of units was odd or even.

First you can ad some plants if you are a plant lover.
You can make the plants with ones.
Next tip ad windows just to make the house a better place.

BAM!The house is in blocks. I had so much fun after that. I love it that people are using the tens as supports and than the hundreds as there foundation to building there mansion or house. Is one

Hi skler it was so much fun building I remember when we were in second grade crashing down towers with tens and they would fall over that was super cool. I remember mine would keep falling down because I would make it like strate up like a tower. What did you do in second grade?

Hello Elior and Charlotte my number of cubes is even too. My house was not really a house it was more like a porch with beams at the top kind of like a no roof house. Grant really does have good building skills. are you a good builder?

Hello I think our houses were great! We worked so hard and they were better than I imagined they would be! Now I will tell you about my weekend. Well my weekend was great. So, on Saturday I went to my dads friends sons birthday party and it was at this fancy restaurant. On Sunday I went to another restaurant but it was not for a birthday. We ate and we had so much fun . My friend was also there. Since she was there she wanted me to come over to her house so I did. her name is Leenoy. shes really nice. And her name is almost like mine Lenore. then, when I went home my mom got me ice cream it was chocolate and vanilla mix it was great and I had the best weekend ever!

Hi this is Lenore and Ben. Here I Lenore here telling you about my weekend.On Saturday I went to the Pumpkin Festival. I had so much fun it was amazing! I played in the play ground and did so many cool things. on Sunday I well stayed home all day it was that boring actually. But my weekend was awesome!

Hi Ben - this is dad. I always enjoy playing tennis with you. You're getting very good. It's a fun game and the more you play, the better you'll become. Also, it's a game that you can play your whole life.

ReplyDeleteI know that grant told us how to build well I’m gonna do it my way. First you need a foundation which means you have to have big metal beams. Those keep everything in place. The you can put walls. Next you can put the insolation. Which keeps the house nice and warm. Now you need a roof so to do that you put wooden beams on top of your house Then you put wood slats down and get shingles.there you have a house.
